San Francisco 08 with SIOP and friends

So, after embarking on a professional conference in San Francisco (which I attended dedicatedly more than I expected). I spend my last few hours of the day at the beach for the sunset and a little fooling around with the water.....Not that I really went in the water that much. Also, I took part in the 5K fun run that my dear friends Jaime and Sarah convince me to run in (more like encouragement) and it did turned out to be an extreme fun time.....Though some of us went out the night before.

Dinner b/4 trip

So, just before Feyi & I head out to Europe, we decided to host our sisters that we have not hung out with in a while for dinner. Dinner - Lemon and Thyme roasted chicken, Sherry Shrimp with Olives. Wine of choice - Rosa Regale sparkling red wine.

Final conclusion - Great time. Here we are.

Monday before Halloween

So there is Statistic's case study deadline coming up, 6 scientific journal articles to critque and a congested fella (me). Where is the halloween spirit, where is the fun? Well, the fun is here - fourth floor where the elevator is located. I then ask me-self why is the fun here? Simple - by the time any kid thinks about coming to yell "trick or treat", they would have come to their senses that the freaking candy they are all excited about is not worth running out of breath via climbing four flights of stairs.

On another note, there are few houses and condos in the neighborhood so mine won't be the first they'll hit. Chances are that they will be hyper and running on the 6th gear of sugar high - (God I hope there is a 12-Step for candy addicts or a CA somewhere), that the four flight might just seem like the three steps on the porch!!!!! Can you tell I hate Halloween? but I love children.......lol.

Well, there is fun when you have a lot of work and you are not doing it - I have no idea who said that but heck, who cares right?
